Converted from an old guardhouse, Garrison Hotel combines historical atmosphere with modern facilities. There is free WiFi, and a restaurant serving homemade food. Room was a good size, location good and breakfast good. Everyone friendly and helpful.

This charming, 19th-century converted farmhouse is just a mile from junction 31 of the M1. It features real log fires, traditional British meals, and bright, elegant rooms. Nice room and had an evening meal which was good value for money. Breakfast was good too
