This family-run Lake District accommodation has an indoor swimming pool, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms. This hotel is beautiful and nicely positioned overlooking Windermere. The lounge, terrasse and dining room are all well appointed and elegant. The meals are good and the breakfast was particularly delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful, taking time to assist with whatever you need to know. Our bedroom, although slightly smaller than I expected, was comfortable, clean and had a lovely view.

Vi likte beliggenheten, spiseområde og det hyggelige personalet. Vi bodde i The Lodge som var meget behagelig med fine rom og god plass. Absolutt verdt prisen. Frokosten var også meget god med godt utvalg. Vi spiste middag en kveld og den var god med store porsjoner, og verdt prisen.

Reception was on point…we had loads of luggage…polish team member was lovely…as was the assisting reception lad and the doorman too….we made a bit of a spectacle when we arrived…lol The view was amazing from our room and we also had drinks before we retired to bed in the bar/lounge area.,the view there was also superb. Free water in room👍

We loved our stay here! What a beautiful part of the world. Amazing building, great rooms and service from the staff. It is right on the lake which is beautiful, and close to the departure for the steam boat. I wish we could have stayed longer.
