It was a great place to stay at such an affordable price. The bed was quite comfortable, and the room was very clean. Although it is approximately 10 km from the city centre, you might use S-Bahn and arrive in Alexanderplatz in 15 minutes.

The location is certainly interesting; it is located in former East Berlin, right next to the former Stasi headquarters, which makes for a very quick trip to that museum. There are at least two very good Italian restaurants within eyeshot of the hotel, with one of these restaurants serving meals for the hotel. The room was well furnished and there was a bath.

The location is perfect. There is very convenient to reach the center of the city by U-Bahn (Subway) ~ 15-20 minutes or by car by the same time. There was a paid parking in hotel's courtyard, but you can always find a parking places in nearby streets (free parking). The room was clean and comfortable if you are not looking for some specials. There are many places to eat nearby from the hotel.

The Apart Hotel Ferdinand Berlin is located just a direct 25-minute tram ride from Alexanderplatz. WiFi and a hotel car park are available.

The hotel is in the forest park of the suburb of Berlin. The walk from the station is app. 20 mins. Not far from the airport, but you should count on some time to go there. By taxi it was 20 mins and costs 30 euros. The building is renovated dormitory. The entrance is nice, a little bit timetravelling to 20th years of 20. Century. The next-door door restaurant has the same style. It's a nice view from it. The room was simple but comfortable. No bar with a fridge. The breakfast for an additional 16 euros was fine, but nothing exceptional. My opinion is that it's too expensive for a choice.
