The hotel is amazing for several reasons: 1. Administrator and waitresses are extremely nice and friendly. Thank you so much 2. Everything is very clean. All furniture is new and very beautiful. Rooms are decorated very well and with perfect taste 3. Breakfast is wonderful, food is very good. Service is top. Dishes and decoration in restaurant are marvellous 4. Location is very good. View is very beautiful we were really enjoying our staying and highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Republica we felt welcomed despite being hot and dishevelled from a big day of hiking. This was one of the most friendly receptions we have had during our two weeks in Portugal. Nothing was too much trouble, including room service provided early from the Restaurant Menu when the All Day Menu was not available. We requested an extra night and again, no problem at all. Breakfast options at the restaurant were exceptional and the service, equally as good. The coffee machine in the room was awesome, the beds luxurious and the bathroom stylish and clean. The minibar was well stocked and an abundance of room snacks were available.

Featuring a bar and a terrace, Sapientia Boutique Hotel is set in Coimbra, 600m from S. Sebastião Aqueduct and 400m from University of Coimbra. Located in the historical town of Coimbra, this hotel has convenient (although limited) free parking on the main road. The Staff was extremely kind. We were greeted with some refreshments upon our arrival. A really nice gesture after a long road trip. Every room is themed after a writer, we had books in our room, a leaflet with a bedtime story and complimentary water… and the bed time chocolate. Our room was spotless, spacious and very nicely decorated with amazing river views. Breakfast, served on wooden tables, had a great variety of sweet and savory. Everything was delicious. The entire hotel is decorated like a home, so every corner makes you feel at home!

Perched on a mountain top with panoramic views, Delfim Douro offers luxury accommodation with private balconies overlooking the Douro River. Modern hotel with stunning views from every room, across the Douro River valley. Parking outside the door. Great meals and (mostly) very friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay by a day. It was fun having a pool table to while away a rainy day.
