I loved the cookies that they left every day. restaurant - unbelievable food, especially the tasting menu. so much choice at breakfast too. nice spa, although not very big so only went a couple of times.

The swimming pool was good and the hot tub very appreciated. The views to the bay are also nice (although half of the view is towards the commercial harbour). It's not far from Praia da Vitória (walkable). Staff at the reception desk and at breakfast was very kind, enthusiastic and available. Breakfast was very good. We would definitely come back again to this hotel.

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. This was a great experience from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Staff are incredibly nice and helpful and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The pools in particular are amazing and we really appreciated that they are open 24h/day so we could have a late night swim under the stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the amazing breakfast, and the stunning views. It’s a place I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Angra. Angra stole my heart; it's a place I would love to return to. You can take a leisurely 20-minute walk to the city center or drive to convenient public parking spots.
