Though named a "hotel" it was more like guests hosted in a holiday home. The Swiss charm envelopes the property, very comfortable for what it is. Thank you to the property owners, much appreciate your efforts in keeping it up in its current form, considering its long history.

A boutique style chalet hotel that is brand new in 2023. The room was clean, bedding of high quality and a territorial view from our room. The common area, desk staff, bar and breakfast room are all in one large space. Lots of comfortable seating with a fireplace view and windows looking out on the beautiful grounds and mountains surrounding the setting. Nicolof and Christoper were great hosts and Sunshine the dog is equally friendly. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk (paved sidewalk) from the bus/train stop which is at the edge of town. A few good looking restaurants and shops are very close. The tourism office is at the bus stop. There are rental shops in town, within a short walk. The train to Villars is easy to reach from the bus stop. Villars is about a 10 minute train ride. Villars is a busy resort area. Gryon is much quieter which was exactly our preference. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, including coffee any way you like it, juices, cereals, boiled eggs, fresh bread, meats, cheeses and other goodies. In the evening the bar is open with beers, wines, NA beers, cocktails and soft drinks. I will be staying here every time I can return. All positive comments from our stay! Fully recommend this lovely hotel for a visit to the area!

Grand Hôtel des Bains Superior biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op het gebergte Dents du Midi en gratis toegang tot het spacentrum in Lavey-les-Bains, dat over het warmste thermale water van Zwitserland... The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Ny room was great, quiet, large and comfortable. Internet worked perfectly. I loved the baths and the saunas. I enjoyed a hike from the hotel to St Maurice and visit of the Abbaye. Buffet breakfast included plenty of choices. For dinner I went across the read to chalet type restaurant, which I liked very much, and which might also be part of the hotel complex.
