We stayed to visit friends and hapoened upon this more or less accidentally but it is a real jewel! Luxury at decent prices, without the bling but with a heart.

The staff and owners are absolutely amazingly friendly and do everything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms and restaurant are ultra clean and show great pride in small details of decor to meet your needs. It is by far the best place to stay definitely will come back and highly recommend to anyone.

Rechille was very kind and helpful and always had a smile on her face and even gave me a free late checkout as I had to wait for my partner to finish work. The staff was very friendly! Even with very late check-in, it was very easy! Room and hotel overall was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Also convenient to travel to Basel (~15 min by train from the Swiss side) + Spacious room with quite minimalistic décor but very comfortable. There's also a balcony with a table and chairs. Comfy beds, good bathroom, quietness, excellent sleep quality. + Friendly staff. The reception isn't open 24 hours but it's not a problem: we arrived late, but the instructions were absolutely clear, and we didn't have any problems getting into our room. + Very tasty varied breakfast. I was very happy to find lots of berries which are rarely offered at hotels. + Great value for money! (and after you check prices in Basel, - twice as great value for money!:) If again in this region, I'd happily return to this hotel. Really recommended!
