I really really wish that we were able to of stayed longer. It was our favorite stay in all of the 10 places that we visited in Europe. It is very very close to the little town where travel information can be found and a small grocery store that closes at 12:30 on Saturday and doesn't open again until Monday, take note. the same goes for gas. So make sure to get that ahead of time also. And possibly cash also. Just a few minutes away is the beginning of the panoramic route and also the beginning of the Logarska dolina Valley Drive and all of its beauty. The river is right across the road and there's a cute patio with adorable kitties that is pleasant to sit on during the day and also at night to see the sky lit full of stars. The breakfast was out of this world! And there is a refrigerator where you can buy some beer and wine which was very convenient and I especially love that there was milk in the refrigerator for morning coffee. I cannot stand powder creamers. So this was wonderful! We hope to be able to come back and if we do we will definitely be staying here!

We were cycle touring and the Grof offered special discounts to all cyclists at the bar and restaurant, plus they wash and dry your laundry for free! The staff were extremely helpful and the bikes were locked securely at night in a maintenance garage with free bike-wash and bike tool station. To cap it all, breakfast was superb- huge variety and great quality- it's just a pity we had to leave the next day to continue our journey.

The food for breakfast and dinner is home made and with own products. Everything is mouth watering!!! The open air area behind the house under gorgeous grapes trees is amazing. They have free parking and and some of the places are under a roof. The room was much better that expected, spacious, with a desk and chair, nice views to the horses and the geese. The rooms have no noise from the street or from other guests. The bathroom with granite is also very spacious. The hosts are opened to a conversation and gave us good advice to visit the surroundings. It is located on the road along the border with Croatia, and a good point to stop and visit the area around, trekking, shopping at the glass factory, going to the spa, or visiting museums.
