Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Solar de Santo André is a recently renovated guest house located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. highly recommend staying at Solar de Santos André! I was lucky to stay there 4 nights (3 in the studio and 1 in the appartment), it is really a beautifull place! The house is a museum in itself, you can feel that history took place in those rooms, the 'library' is incredible and the kitchen is a dream. Eduarda will give you lots of tips and advice on the island, and if you wish she will tell you the story of the house. You trully feel at home and in a cocoon within the city. The breakfasts are awsome (thank you Maria as well :) I'll be back for sure!!

Set 12 km from Pico do Carvao, DMCharme offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. Bed is comfortable. Private bathroom is huge. The host is very attentive and helpful. Daniel helped me with taxi when I was in the middle of the island.

Located within 500 metres of Praia do Corpo Santo and 600 metres of Praia da Vinha da Areia in Vila Franca do Campo, Pousada da Vila features accommodation with seating area. The owner was a real friendly person, and very welcoming. She made sure I was properly checked in and everything was in order, and gave some extra tips about the small town.

Offering pool with a view and sea view, Thalassa Villas is situated in Ponta Delgada, less than 1 km from São Roque Beach and a 15-minute walk from Milicias Beach. We stayed in the unit on the first floor that led out to the pool. It is bright, modern and very comfortable. The apartment had everything that we needed for our 1.5 week trip, including a crib and high chair for our baby. The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to any of our requests. The location of the apartment is very central and was a great base for exploring the rest of the island.

Located in Povoação and only 2.4 km from Morro Beach, Casa da Lomba do Cavaleiro provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing owner, you can feel in his house like at home- comfortable, yourself and relax. The best way to describe is- house with the soul and stunning view and let's not forget about amazing breakfast 😉❤️

Boasting a shared lounge, terrace and views of sea, Garoupas Inn is set in Ponta Delgada, 500 metres from São Roque Beach. The room was really nice, clean, with gorgeous, peaceful views of the ocean. The owners were fantastic, great communication and very kind and helpful.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, CC Guest House - "Ao Mercado" is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Ponta Delgada, 13 km from Pico do Carvao. Location was perfect. Property is exactly how described with everything perfectly presented. Good restaurants recommended and within short walk. A wonderful stay.

Situated in Ribeira Grande and within 300 metres of Ponte dos Oito Arcos, Matriz Guest House has a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. We had a perfect stay in Rossana and Eduardo's home. They made sure we were comfortable every day. The breakfast is amazing with all these homemade jams and cakes they make. The room was very big and comfortable, and everything was clean. Overall I would repeat again :)
