The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.

Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Natur Waterpark is 25 km from Muas Guest House, while Douro Museum is 38 km away. The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro, 95 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. What a view! We got a balcony room overlooking the mountain and towns below, as well as the pool and cute bar area downstairs. The room itself is quite small, but the bed was great and we really stayed here to be near the scenic area and Fisgas de Ermelo, the truly epic waterfall within a 20 minute drive of the property through the beautiful mountain area. The host was great, friendly to talk to and gave us some great tips (plus a quite good affordable bottle of wine for the evening). Make sure to bring dinner with you or stop before you come for the evening as there is nothing in the immediate area. Breakfast was quite good too. There is also a pool and hot tub, although it was too cold for us to use those (even in July). Overall, if you're driving through the area, it's worth a stop!

The experience was amazing! The hospitality of the hosts was beyond expectations, I really felt welcomed. And home made wine - excellent. Breakfast served by the hosts - perfect! At the guest house, all units come with bed linen and towels. A lovely stay with hosts that treat you like family. The room is spotless clean, and you get to use the dining and living rooms, it’s spacious and nice. But mostly it’s the chance to meet the nicest hosts and feel the real Portugal. We highly recommend it, and hope to come again.

Comfortable bed and the bathroom. They also had a very good hair drier which was missing in other places (I have lots of hair). It was so pretty I had a chance to seat on the balcony and paint. Great space.
