All of Villa Welwitshia’s rooms are spacious and fitted with a sofa and cable TV. Each room has air conditioning and a refrigerator, while some feature their own balcony with garden views. All of it. Location was great to walk to town. Up a hill though which kept us fit. Swimming pool great at the end of a day out. Highly recommend this accommodation.

This recently renovated guest house is located 11 km from Church of São Lourenço and 25 km from Vilamoura Marina. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor pool. The room is super cozy, in the yard there's also a pool and a jacuzzi. The host is super kind and does take care of his guests. I'd book this apartment again should I ever return to Faro.

Guests can use the spa and wellness centre with a sauna, and hot tub, as well as a bar. We booked this hotel based on the reviews and we weren't disappointed. The staff were very friendly and service minded, and the room was great with a balcony overlooking the Ria Formosa nature park. Apart from the fantastic breakfast it's also worth mentioning the bar menu which had a wide range of non standard hotel dishes e.g. Paella, tapas. There were also a number of good restaurants within walking distance.
