I was very impressed with Hotel Motel One - probably the Motel in the name threw me off - but they ran a very tight ship for such a huge hotel (I think 800+ rooms). The reception staff was most helpful, check-in and check-out were seamless, and they even helped us with a bottle opener when we needed one. The bathroom was big and clean and there were no problems with the wi-fi. Plus, a huge lounge/bar area on the ground floor filled with travellers enjoying themselves - that was a nice sight. Overall I highly recommend it.

Excellent, spacious and clean room. The interior (and exterior for that matter) of the hotel is greatly designed. The bar/cafe was also very nice although we visited only for some minutes.

Well located in the centre of Cologne, Maternushaus provides air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. The location was very convenien, safe, and quiet. The rooms were clean and had AC which was very much appreciated, especially during this heatwave. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was also very delicious.

Such a great hotel! We had a corner room that overlooked the road, and it was perfectly quiet. The bed was amazing and we slept so well. The shower was superb, push button to get the temperature just perfect. The shower with colored lights was also such a cool touch. It’s a 5-7min walk to the cathedral and the central Stratton. The breakfast was good with decent choice. We really enjoyed our stay!
