Samarkand is a city rich with history, where every site has a story. The main attractions like Registan Square are stunning, and the local food is delicious. People here are very friendly and welcoming. I also found the city to be very safe. It's a great place that feels both ancient and welcoming.

Registan square is quite beautiful and a must visit place in Uzbekistan. In terms of food, there are very less options for Vegetarian food but have 2-3 good Indian restaurant where one can find some good Indian Veg food. Cabs are also very cheap here to roam around the city.

Though we had very few hours of stay in samarkand , but this small time also will be very memorable, specially with the hotel we stayed in , Registan , light Show, shops, local food .
YANDEX Go :- for taxi ,just works fine and must use.
Our stay at Boulevard Palace in Samarkand from December 18 to 20 was exceptional, earning a 9/10. The hotel boasted impeccable service, cleanliness, and proficient staff. Notably, it stood out for its opulent palace-style amenities: striking chandeliers, a large smart TV, heighted celings, bright spacious room, big sized wardrobes & sofa, and a bathtub. It is also in a prime location in the city. These luxurious features added an unforgettable touch to our stay, making it truly remarkable. My daughter loved the Smart TV :)
Beautiful experience.
Great Location. All the major tourist spots within walking distance.
We had a great time in Uzbekistan as our stay was very comfortable at Nursultan Guest House. Our host was extremely friendly, warm, kind, helpful, and guided us through every step.
Our breakfast was very delicious with a lot of Uzbekistan cuisine.
The room was very clean , spacious, and extremely comfortable.
I would definitely like to recommend Nursultan Guest House for a comfortable stay.
- This is more like a guest house rather than a hotel. A family basically runs this place and they are very welcoming and nice hosts. They usually sit in the shop next to the hotel.
- The best thing about this place is the location. It is in the heart of the main tourist area.
- The room has an AC which for me was very useful as it was quite hot in Samarkand.
- Some nice restaurants right very close to the hotel.
This hotel is very clean and modern. Fantastic location in the city, we were able to walk to all of the sites from the hotel. Our hotel room was very nice and spacious. The absolute best free breakfast we’ve had during our stay in Uzbekistan - they have you place an order for some hot food they will cook up for you (we chose fried eggs and oatmeal) along with a HUGE spread of other foods just for you.
A very nice, recently renovated hotel, walking distance to the main sights (about 1 km).
The room, (incl. bathroom) was very nice, spacious, modern and clean. Also, our bed was really nice and comfortable. Most beds in Uzbekistan have very hard mattresses.
Breakfast was nice.
Staff was friendly and when we arrived at the hotel early in the morning, we were invited to join breakfast. :)
Location is excellent, just near to Gur Amir and other historical places in the City. Breakfast with Samarkandi hospitality was very delicious and staff were highly professional and best in their work. I appreciate and highly recommend this place especially for those who want to feel historical spirit of the most beautiful City and the Heart of Uzbekistan, ancient and Great Samarkand!
Very good location in Samarkand City. Breakfast very good with choice of fresh food. Room very quiet and well equipped. Nice linen, very comfortable beds. Mr. Savlat was more than helpful with any request. He assisted us with lot of kindness to help us on our way to Bukhara. His help has been fundamental to realize a dreaming trip in Uzbekistan. Thank you Mr. Savlat!
We liked everything about this hotel! The rooms were very comfortable (we were asked before arrival what
type of mattress we preferred) and clean, the hotel was in a good location, breakfast was the best we had in Uzbekistan
and Muhammad and his family went out of their way to ensure we were happy and comfortable. We’d give it a
10+ if we could.
This was the most beautiful room I stayed in in Uzbekistan. It was even better than the 4 star hotels where I paid 2 times the price. The staff is very kind, and helped me book a taxi when I first landed even though I had some problems at the airport. They even provided snacks and coffee.
I stayed in the Old Radio hostel twice during my trip in Uzbekistan. The dorm room was super clean and cozy, with private curtains and a lot of space. I felt safe and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and all the stuff are kind and helpful. I felt like at home and highly recommend it.
They've made my trip memorable! Amazing, helpful, kind staff with comfortable, clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Can't even ask more!
They are fluent in English, which could help you a lot during your trip to Uzbekistan.
Really well located. Would definitely recommend staying. The garden was great with the warm days. Amazing breakfast, best we’ve had in Ouzbekistan. And very friendly staff, the owner arranged a great day trip for us.
Absolutely beautiful place, more like a B&B, lovely owners take good care of the guests , rooms are beautiful with huge bathrooms. Best hotel we stayed in Uzbekistan’s in our 3 week trip. Excellent location too.
Uzbekistan is one of the best holiday destination I’ve ever been the food is amazing people very helpful and kind Everything was great in the hotel special thanks to Asad Baik at the reception was very helpful
The host is very friendly and helpful. Nigora served us authentic and amazing Uzbekistan food for breakfast. The room is very clean, close to the tourist sites. The building also very homey.
Great bed, and solid water pressure. Walking distance from the train station.
The hosts helped me book three train tickets in Uzbekistan, only knowing me for 5 min. Amazing hospitality
We returned on our trip through Uzbekistan to the Turon hotel and were delighted again. Same great service. We thank all the staff for the pleasant stay, especially Azamat.
Very nice hotel and the location is perfect. We had a very good rest after a lot of cycling in Ouzbekistan.
Also the breakfast in the morning is really nice
