It was faultless from the room, to the breakfasts to all the staff to the Blowdry place. There isn’t one criticism I can possibly think of. Lovely restaurant, cocktails - everything!

Dalkey is a charming little town right on the train route.

Dalkey is a charming little town right on the train route. The Coliemore rooms are super accessible right behind the lovely pub. Be sure to visit the Sorrento Park and Dalkey Island using the local ferry. Also the Dalkey Hill provides great views of the area and Dublin. Be sure to note that the train does take 25 minutes or so to get into Dublin, so you need to plan for that if you're going into the city.

Beautiful and quaint historic town with a superb heritage centre ideal for a family visit. Highly entertaining tour with actors in costume and lots of interaction. Surrounding areas picturesque. Great cafes and independent shops on the high street. Really convenient for popping into Dublin on the Dart. Easy to access from the motorway too.

Not easy to drive around Dalkey..

Not easy to drive around Dalkey..Must have been a nice area long ago before traffic and construction clogged it up..The facade of the village buildings is nice and well maintained. Malahide and Howth would be a far better option for a city break.

    What a lovely little place.

What a lovely little place. The main street (Castle Street) is an absolute joy, boutique little restaurants and cafes alongside niche shops. I was there on business but will absolutely be coming back as a tourist.

I have visited Dalkey on 3 occasions and each time have found the people friendly and welcoming. You are spoilt for choice in terms of eateries, from small independent cafe's, pubs, wine bar and restaurants. On weekends live music can be found in the pubs and wine bar.

Ideally located and very central. Easy access to all local amenities, shops, restaurants, bars and transport. Very quiet despite being directly next to a pub. Some parking in front of the building. Large bathroom with walk in shower and plenty of hot water. Spacious room. Coffee and tea making facilities. Beaches and harbour within walking distance. Dalkey is a wonderful place with lots of character and something for everyone. Dublin is approx 40 mins away by Dart

PERFECT location! Easy, secure and convenient access to accommodation. Everything provided, comfortable and clean. Very helpful and friendly Hosts (Jimmy and Pat 🥰) held our bags at The Pub (after enjoying a delicious breakfast) until check-in time). Wished we could have stayed more days but they were booked up even six months ahead. Very happy with the provided rubber shower mat!! That was a bonus almost no other hotel included. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Accommodation!!!

The staff at check in were polite and professional. WE really enjoyed our room. It was roomy and clean and decorated very well. Wish we had more time in the area. The Dungeon Bar was a fun atmosphere and the personal service we received from both the bartender and the other gentleman that helped us with their new menu items and wine pairings and the rules for the Rugby match we watched made for a special last night in Ireland.

The hotel is impressive from the outside. The location is amazing and we had a car to get there so that made life a lot easier. This would be difficult to get to on public transport. Check-in was pretty straight forward and we were easily able to make our way to the room, which, I have to say was one of the biggest rooms I've ever stayed in! The view from our room was incredible!

Location was perfect for a visit with my sister and family in Dalkey. The things to do around the hotel kept us busy when it wasn't rainy. This is my second time at the FitzPatrick. The staff was very friendly and more than accommodating on our requests for taxi's, breakfast to go, extra water, etc.

The location was perfect! We used the DART to travel Ireland’s east coast, the station 🚉 is a 3 minute walk. The restaurant next door is very good! You are basically in the town making it easy to visit the restaurants and shops. Walking to the harbour and Vico bathing area are also easy to get to.
