The area, safari, zoo, etc.
The restaurant is nice because you can see the lions very close when eating.
Feeding the animals is also nice.
The staff is very polite.
Everything but the room…

I went there with my wife on our honeymoon and I totally recommend this hotel, we stayed there for a week without leaving the resort not even once (ten out of ten).
The food at the restaurant is outstanding and the portions are decent. Regarding lunch and dinner, we loved the prawns, steaks, burgers, pizzas, etc... Also they have variety of delicious soups and appetizers. For breakfast, they have different types of eggs, fresh fruits, fresh juices, coffee, waffles, pancakes, etc and they taste amazing. Really hats-off to the amazing chef. The service and waiters are super friendly.
The facilities are very clean, and the private pool with the view on the ocean is breathtaking. We enjoyed swimming at the beach, the pool and our private pool. Also, amazing views.
The service in general is amazing and the Staff are just lovely,
Also, we had a romantic dinner arranged with photoshoot. We really enjoyed it and we were very happy with the received photos.
Yeah and finally the spa is great. We had received a couple massage very other day and felt super relaxed.
TOTALY RECOMMENDED

for good pool, nice rooms good reasonable food yes Price for rooms too high maybe. Not much to do but relax! You are a 600.000R round trip to not much,,very littkle shopping,, Surf Classes Ihe beach is for Surfers no Picture Blue Bali Water Greybeards!
Excellent surf spot offering slightly better weather (less clouds than the other coasts in my experience). Up and coming area with lots of new developments happening. A great place to spend your money and invest away from all the chaos of Sanur etc.
Black volcanic sand beach. The famous White Sands beach a short drive away

We already miss our large private quite friendly beautiful villa at Desa Swans!! # 16 is great!! And we just left today. A home away from home with a private pool!!
We are now in a tiny beach hut with semi working air conditioning and semi poor customer service :(
I don’t know if we will return to Bali but if we do we’d love to come back to Desa Swan. We are visiting our son who is a surf coach with a month off and the surf was excellent in Keramas.

Keramas/Saba is a quiet seaside area with minimal development although this looks to be changing.
The beach is black sand and not one you would want to laze about on. There is a lot if plastic rubbish at the beach access points. It is a surf beach.
The area we stayed in, Saba, was quite isolated and you would be best to have your own transport.
Ubud and Candi Dasa are an easy drive away.

This was our first time to Keramas and we loved it.
This was our first time to Keramas and we loved it. Keramas is away from the hustle and bustle. There were local restaurants along the beachfront, food was great and very affordable. If you prefer, there are also fact hotels with beach front restaurants, just be prepared to pay a little extra. We loved the uniqueness of the volcanic sandy beaches, which weren't busy at all, and there were plenty of surf-able waves. We didn't venture from from our accomodation at the Keramas Surf Camp, so unable to review outside of the beach area.

The territory with a garden is very beautiful, like a paradise. But outside the territory there’s nothing. Free transfer to the beach which is a great option as it’s 40 min away walking, 8 min by car. / Didn’t except dollars, didn’t have a currency exchange mention on booking, internet didn’t work properly in the room, coffee machine was broken, had to wait to long for an answer, clean but a bid dusty rooms, windows impossible to open, terrible pillows, couldn’t lock the door. No one really cared about unlocked door of the room). The beach is cool for surfing, not swimming. Black sand is a very beautiful thing) sunset is great on the beach
As compared to the 5 star resorts and hotels elsewhere in Bali, this is a totally different experience and you have to adjust your expectations. It is a great stay at the safari and the experience was wonderful for my children. I would recommend a minimum of 2 nights stay to get the best out of this hotel and overall experience. While some may say the room is a little run down, as a hotel at the Safari, it truly is great and it really grows on you. Breakfast is good, Indonesian hospitality as how you would experience it elsewhere in Bali.
The breakfast were delicious (50k Rp). They take care of the scooter rental for us (85k Rp per day). They cleaned the rooms every day. The pool was clean and nice. The WiFi was OK (30mbps). The stuff were very kind and helpful with everything we needed. I needed my trousers repair and the stuff just took them to the taylor and make them fix the same day.
The place is in the calm place. 1 km from surf beach with super restants and beach bars which are not that crowdy. It's about 40 minutes to Ubud by scooter which is close in Bali.
Very comfortable and clean! Felt at home. The staff were lovely! Walking distance to Keramas beach with beautiful rice terraces along the way. Air con worked well. Yummy breakfast. Staff were flexible in giving me a late breaky which was much appreciated. Set up nicely for surfers with board rack and plenty of places to hang up wet stuff to dry. The pool was nice and didn't turn my blonde hair green like some do. Will definitely be back.
The animals of course, the staff, the lush green surroundings, the pool and its view of animals, the elephant show and definitely elephant ride, the animal show and the animal experience photo opportunities, loved the safari tours both night safari (this was extra and my teenagers loved this and made the time together worth it) and Bali safari and the Tsavo Restaraunt is the best! (these features are included in the cost of the room).
The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The entire property, as well as the home very clean and well kept. We loved the lay out and privacy each villa offers. Peaceful & tranquil. Keramas is just a short ride from Ubud if you want to head out for the day. The groundsman will not leave a leaf out of place for long. Staff is available 24/7 on WhatsApp and will get back to you within minutes. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff!
This was an awesome villa. The views are breathtaking! It is as it appears online. The bed was not super, plush soft or anything but it was like the average bed at hotels, so don’t be alarmed by my rating of the bed. The breakfast is great. Also, you can order a floating breakfast as well. It was an awesome experience! I’ll definitely return here for my future stay in Bali.
The Keramas Moonlight Villa is gorgeous! You can tell the owners John and Ratna take pride in their property.
The details of the building, the food, the staff…everything is wonderful.
You are very short walk to the beach and fun surf.
There is even a brewery right next door with delicious beer and food.
I would (and hopefully will) stay in the villa/hotel again.
Our stay was amazing! I'd definitely come back in future trips to Bali!
The resort facilities are just the best to really immerse in the Balinese relaxing vibes (garden & pool were wonderful!) and the bar was very convenient for last minute dinner with the family! The staff was very kind and supportive too!
Awesome location - very close to the beach. Around 200 mtrs. Good spread of the breakfast. The Spa was fantastic - complimentary massages given. The Villa was spacious and the housekeeping staff did a good job. Overall a wonderful experience and would recommend the resort to anyone who is travelling to Bali.
Everything. Beautiful surroundings, incredible food in both restaurants, the staff in every department were the best experienced in Bali.
If you want to experience pure relaxation this is the place with the most amazing spa treatments, healthy food, yoga, skating, surfing, beach club & adult pool.
A stunning place a hundred meters from the surfing beach of Keramas. Large spacious rooms, comfortable bed, snow-white linen! Very tasty food in the restaurant, excellent service and friendly owners. A magical place where you don't want to leave. Will definitely come back, 100% recommend!
Everything is perfect here!
it’s quiet, serene and peaceful. villa is perfection.
staff gentle and sincere.
this could be the best place I’ve ever stayed, not just in Bali, but anywhere.
I wanted a quiet relaxing holiday to unwind, and it’s exactly what I got.

Close to Keramas surf break, big rooms, very clean, hot water with good pressure, hosts are very friendly, nice little plunge pool to cool off. Only stayed one night but would have extended if no further travel plans. Overall it's an excellent room for the price.
great location, only a short stroll down the the surf. the hotel is super clean, rooms big and comfortable, all the staff at the hotel are super friendly, welcoming and happy. Great food here as well. Top spot to stay in Keramas, I will be back.
My husband and I were very impressed with the hospitality. Their price is cheaper than other villas around there. I love the room design, it’s traditional and the huge bathroom is fabulous! The view is nice from 2nd floor.
quiet Balinese style rooms and tranquil setting, these boutique villas were full of character and the staff were beautiful! food at the onsite restaurant was also amazing!
Simple, cute, old school traditional Bali huts in a great location with beautiful views of the rice paddy fields. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!
the location is amazing, just one minute walk from the main surfing point. the staff were very kind and helpful.
the restaurant over there is really good and cheap.
