Our junior suite was gorgeous - the bed was amazingly comfortable, I like the private entrance , I wish we had the free time to stay and extra night to make even more out of our stay <3

Breakfast and choice was great. Location spot on central for a great shopping experience. Any one travelling by train is on the doorstep not that you hear any trains. All in all a great hotel and staff so friendly.
Would definitely stay again.
Hitchin is a lovely market town. Some of the shops have closed down since my last visit, which is a shame, but the pubs and selection of restaurants is outstanding. The atmosphere is always great in Hitchin and the people are extremely friendly.

Hitchin is a great vibrant market town with an abundance of independent places to eat and chill. There are also the major chain places to eat and drink if you are a little less adventurous. There are plenty of open spaces and playgrounds for the little ones. You can sit in the town square, relax, have a drink and watch the world go by. The locals are friendly and happy to chat and help. The train station is nearby and you can be in the centre of London in under an hour.

Based on a previous visit I loved Hitchin.
Based on a previous visit I loved Hitchin. However the weather was so hot that this time I spent most of it sitting in the dark in my friends living room trying to keep cool!!

Hotel nice worm welcome but needs more security at night...
Hotel nice worm welcome but needs more security at night because kitchen staff wonder in to young girls bedroom at early hours in the morning 12.30am to b more accurately with out there permition young girl very frightened my son was head butted by a member of the kitchen staff because he was protecting his girlfriend from intruder nothing was done about this bad end to a lovely wedding want be going back .
This hotel is in a great position; all members of staff were friendly and helpful; the room was comfortable with lovely towels, and the breakfast had limited choice but it was very good. There were a lot of people in the restaurant having Afternoon Tea when we arrived. The building is very old with a lot of character, but it would benefit greatly from an update. That said, we enjoyed our stay, and would certainly do so again.
The hotel is in one corner of the jungle very far from the town center. The room carpet had a lot of stains, bed was old and not comfortable to sleep in. the staff don't care about any feedback.
The hotel is ideal for wedding guests, I would next time stay in the town center which was lovely with plenty of eating options.
Breakfast was delicious - prompt service and freshly made. The room was spacious enough for 3 adults and was nicely set over 2 stories. Beds were comfortable and the linen smelt lovely. On-site car park.
Hotel was close to the town centre and surrounded by restaurants and bars.
A stunning property in an easily accessed location. Convenient for our wedding, Hitchin and Luton airport. Kind hosts welcomed us early to allow us to prepare for the wedding. Very much appreciated!! Instructions and keys/gate code clear and straightforward.
This is a nice place to stay in the centre of Hitchin, so it is near all the amenities, shops, restaurants, etc. There was ample free parking and it was quiet. There was a fridge, microwave, toiletries, etc., which was great.
Liked the location. Oldy worldly Hotel with lots of history. Nice room, comfortable bed, fan, iron & board in room. Very friendly staff. Its not up to date but it fits its surroundings. Liked it a lot
Room was adequate for one night stay. This is an old hotel but facilities were ok. Breakfast was lovely and the whole place felt safe. Hotel was very close to my venue so was perfect.
Breakfast was good and in a pleasant room overlooking the attractive garden. The location was convenient to Hitchin. The beds were comfortable and everything very clean.
Great location to the town stayed here many times
Good value nice staff rooms little dated and could do with some tlc but I do like to stay here when working this way
