Lovely location, friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Room was comfy . The hanging baskets were being delivered after our stay but all the same, it’s such a pretty little place

Not a big city , nice places to eat, fantastic big country park , near to city centre, absolutely wonderful, donated by Andrew Carnegie. Easy rail or bus travel to major cities, fairly reasonable prices, but don’t use ScotRail app, get paper tickets.you can travel on the buses all day for £ 11.50 pp. by purchasing a east of Scotland day rider ticket, good value. Plenty of decent shops and supermarkets close to hotel, lovely big church and abbey ruins close by.

A gem of a city, and a secret that now the people of Edinburgh are cottoning onto. It's got a beautiful Heritage Quarter with loads of trendy bars, cafes and restaurants. Fantastic old buildings, a huge amount of history and one of the most beautiful parks in the world - Pittencrieff Park - is glorious. It really is like a mini-Edinburgh without the fuss and crowds, and such a lovely place to hang out.

We travelled to visit Knockhill Racing Circuit for a booked experience day.
Arrived on a lovely sunny day so decided to visit Pittencrief park on our way to the hotel (Adamson Hotel in crossford) where we had a great walk around the park and encountered many of the beautiful sights including the squirrels.
All in all a wonderful visit and we will definitely be back at some point in the (hopefully not too distant) future
Very friendly and helpful staff. Reception staff very welcoming.
Room clean and modern, if needing a bit of TLC, eg Chipped paint on doorframe.
Breakfast is limited in selection but good quality for a budget hotel. Chef bringing the breakfast out was very friendly and made some of the nicest scrambled eggs I've had outside luxury hotels.
Location is good. On a bus route to the QM train station and the city centre.
Very good for not even £60 night.
Very clean, quiet and comfortable with very friendly, helpful staff, and an excellent location in a quiet, easily accessible part of Dunfermline. My heart sank when I arrived because there was a wedding in progress, but the room was the other side of the hotel and I didn't hear a thing. I would strongly recommend Garvock House and plan to go back with my partner who was unable to come because of sickness.
We decided to base ourselves in Dunfermline to travel around Stirling, Edinburgh, Perth and St Andrews. We choose the City Hotel because of its central location.
It exceeded our expectations. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The meals in the restaurant were superb and competitively priced. The drink prices were excellent too.
We would definitely recommend the City Hotel.
Lovely staff. Very helpful and friendly. Had amazing lunch and breakfast tasty and good choice. Looking forward to seeing renovations completed on our next visit. Hotel is in good location good parking facilities and bus stop opposite for easy access to Dunfermline City. Not our first stay here and will definitely stay again.
Stayed on a girls trip. Explored the surrounding are of Dunfermline then had a very quiet night in the hotel room at night and a perfect night's sleep.
We had breakfast in the morning downstairs in the cafe restaurant which gets really really busy with a queue outside.
We will definitely return.
The hotel has recently been refurbished and the rooms are excellent. The owners couldn't be more helpful.
Set back from the main road it's also very quiet and has the feel of a rural hotel despite being 5 minutes from the centre of Dunfermline.
Dog friendly apartments with everything you would need from toiletries to fresh milk in the fridge. Much better value than a hotel room with much more space and facilities. Perfect for attending the theatre as walking distance from the town
The hotel was in a great location, a short walk to the train station for Edinburgh and a further few minutes in Dunfirmline town centre, although quite hilly. The evening meal was very good as was the breakfast the following morning.
Staff were helpful warm and friendly. I liked the fact that there was a restaurant attached to the hotel. I also liked the little town it was in. Things were clean enough, linens were fresh and more available on request.
The staff was awesome, so friendly and very helpful. There is a bus stop near the hotel which makes it easy to get to the train station. Edinburgh is about 30 minute train ride away.
Great location- quiet, but close to town centre and train station. Free on street car parking was plentiful. Would recommend for anyone who needed a base to stay in Dunfermline
Everything was perfect especially the hosts were so kind and welcoming, the hotel is clean and cozy ....
would definitely go again whenever I'm in Dunfermline
