The appartment is big and really modern, everything was super clean and working perfectly. The host was extremely kind, had even some juice, milk and snacks prepared for us upon arrival. The location is also really good, just a couple of minutes away from the center of the city.

A bright, very well-equipped apartment, very close to the centre of Selestat. Very friendly and helpful owner. Huge terrace (but unfortunately the weather wasn't suitable for spending time on it). Good, free, secure, on-site parking. Great heating.

Selestat was a very well placed town to explore the Alsace...
Selestat was a very well placed town to explore the Alsace region of France. It was smaller than both Strasbourg and Colmar and centrally located between those towns. Selestat had the same charm of these larger towns and we were able to make easy day trips to the larger towns and the many small villages in between. We took a week to allow easy exploration of the region, including some of the Vosges mountain range. Selestat had a good range of casual and higher end dining options, but without the crowds of bigger towns.KymAustralia - 10Scored 10
Historical town centre.
Historical town centre. Helpful and friendly tourist office in main square and get a map to follow so that you don't miss anything as lots to see. A must is the Bibliothèque des Humanistes, also in main square, really worth a visit. Lots of choice of restaurants or options for a lighter lunch.

good starting point for visits to interesting locations. A quiet place - the real France - not touristic. You can walk around the town. Food (small supermarket) shopping in the town limited to Intermarché which closes at 7.30pm. No shops open on Sundays.

The hotel seems to be newly renovated and the design of the room and the aspect of the entire house is outstanding. Very comfortable bed, clean and nice bathroom. Loved the nespresso machine in the room! The breakfast was excellent. We had dinner in the restaurant! It was a remarkable experience, very tasty dishes cooked with fresh ingredients from the region.
