We had to go to a sister hotel for breakfast due to staff being ill. We received a warm welcome from the lady who made sure we had enough and everything was ok.

It is a beautiful historic city. The Shoppes are quaint The castle has a very regal view of this well preserved town. It is fun to explore and it has several very accommodating hotels. There is no shortage of good restaurants. Residents are very welcoming and Murchants are attempting to assist however they can.
It is a great city to visit Buy car, boat, or bicycle.
If there is one negative, it is the limited parking.

I was there for just one (complete) day over the Easter holiday. It is a very nice small German village off the beaten track (i.e. Autobahn), but which is very close by. It is on the confluence of the Rivers Main and Tauber. The old Castle (Burgt) is worthwhile a visit.

We stayed in Wertheim for only one night during a business...
We stayed in Wertheim for only one night during a business trip. It's a very nice town but oozes an atmosphere of geriatrics. We were here outside the tourist season and we really enjoyed the quietness and great restaurant Zum Ochsen. Would not chooses to be here in the main season.
The Wertheimer Tube was a very pleasant surprise. My wife and I were both stationed in Wertheim from 73-79. We met here and were married on the base. The room was very big, with great facilities. The staff was superb, very helpful, spoke excellent English and went out of their way to may sure we had an early breakfast on the day we had to leave. Highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to Wertheim. Will definitely stay here if and when we return.
A really nice hotel run by some lovely people. We were made to feel very welcome. I was served the best gin and tonic ever. Breakfast was excellent. The special bike area was really helpful with all the resources need to charge up our e-bikes. Car parking was stress free which is always good.
Located just outside Wertheim on a main road, this was a good location for us travelling on motorcycles. Secure garage parking. Friendly staff, easy check in. Good evening meal and breakfast with lovely warm soft boiled eggs and good coffee. Room was OK as there was a bit of road noise.
Right in the centre of the historical part of Wertheim. Room was comfortable and cosy, quiet. WIFI was working great. I was asked what I wanted for breakfast the next day, and it was all there when I arrived. I could order more from a menu, it was all included.
Fantastically appointed top floor apartment with plenty of room and an awesome view of the hills. Everything was very nicely designed and a great location for touring Wertheim. Sylvia was a great host and this property is highly recommended!
Right in the middle of Wertheim, which is both perfect and troublesome. No way to get there by car, so you're in for a long haul of luggage. Besides, lots and lots of stairs which could be a problem for some. That said, a nice hotel.
The staff was friendly and very efficient with the booking in at the hotel. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was strong, which was definitely not expected, but a wonderful surprize.
The location next to the river is quite nice and it is just a short bike ride to the beautiful city of Wertheim. When we stayed there we had complementary access to the neighbouring public swimming pool.
Great hotel Fantastic location..Breakfast 5 euro.
Parking 3.50 euro a night. Pottery and ceramic sales right out front.. Minutes from the river.. 1k or less from Wertheim Castle.. Bring a fan.. No AC
Great location for a stopover. Ideal if you need more than 1 bedroom but don't want to stay in an expensive hotel. Parking was available in front of the apartment. Clean. Drinking water available.
I liked that the hotel was right downtown. The room was decent size and very clean, the staff was awesome and very accomodating! Coffee / coffee machine in room - great coffee.
The city is amazing, good stores are located nearby. You can reach the property by train, is located only a few minutes away from the train station Wertheim-Bestenheid.
Great little hotel in a good location for Wertheim and main roads. Quiet. Good size rooms, comfy beds. Big balcony. Friendly, helpful owners. Handy parking.
