Near Hotel is playground, you can have nice and chill walk. Train station is also not really far from Hotel. We visit Legoland and all was perfect! We loved it!

Friendly and very helpful staff. We arrived very late and completely forgot to inform the hotel staff. Yet they proactively managed our late access.

There were ten of us in the apartment, three generations, and no problem. It was spacious, whoever wanted it had their privacy. We will definitely come back next year, when we take the kids to Legoland again

Everythink in Günzburg was excellent.
Everythink in Günzburg was excellent. Easy to get there by train. Cosy center with lovely coffee an ice shops and resturants. We stayed in the hotel Goldene Traube three nights. We had a regular breakfast at the Reissler bakery (caffee, brezel, cakes..). We enjoyed pizzas and minestrone soups in Guntia pizzeria- very friendly to kids. Soups, kaesepaetzle, Maximillian's gulash, salats, kinderschnizel and apple fritters in brasserie Maximillan's at Marktplatz would recommend. Ice cream in Eiscafe numero Uno was dream for kids. And Legoland was above expectations: great fun for kids, but also for adults! Legoland was also easy accesable by a shuttle bus from train station.

We went there just for Legoland.
We went there just for Legoland. However we did try one Vietnamese restaurant (Schnell Restaurant Pham) and we like it so much we stuck with it! The three days we were there we ate only at Mrs Pham's!
Getting around the town on foot is easy.
Next time I would avoid renting an ev. This process of finding a way to pay for the charging of your electirc car is a nightmare for those not familiar with how this thing works in Germany and even worst for people like me that do not speak German.

Günzburg, a small town on the Danube has a delightful old central area with a thousand years of history. I knew absolutely nothing about it before, but spent three days on my own to kill time before travelling from a meeting here in the restored Castle - Schloss Reisensburg, on a hill overlooking the Danube, to another meeting in Italy. The Hotel Hirsch was a lucky choice, being right in the centre of the old town, where many of the buildings and views have been carefully restored with respect for their renaissance or baroque history. You can take a guided tour to visit the spectacularl rococo cathedral, and learn why it appears to be joined at the hip to a secondary school. It's a beautiful example of Zimmerman's architecture, with an interesting backstory. Look at the houses on the line of the old city walls, whose upper floors project successively further over the street below, and discover why one of the surviving towers on the city wall is called the Kuhturm (cow tower). For lots more information and relics of its period under the Romans and when it was in Austria under the Habsburgs, as well as more recent times, I can recommend the Heimatmuseum, but it's only open on Sunday afternoons. For dinner I got lucky in two of my three choices. Almost opposite the hotel is an excellent Greek restaurant called Platia, and a couple of blocks away an amazing Italian restaurant called Backstube at Ηοfgasse 21. I wouldn't bother with a couple of others which appeared on the web to be good.

Typical german town with a small old town.
Typical german town with a small old town. Nice old houses around Marktplatz.
It was hard to find a decent coffee/breakfast location. Lots of empty locations, probebly due to Covid.
If you want to visit Legoland, Günzburg is a very good place to stay. Its only about 9 Minutes by car away.
This is a lovely hotel with very welcoming, friendly staff - from reception staff to the housekeeping staff we met in the corridor. There are nice touches in the room ie little packs of sweets, a piece of fruit and drinks in the fridge at no extra charge. There is a good selection of food for breakfast. We will be visiting again in October and have already booked our stay. Other than staying on site at Legoland this is probably the nearest hotel with plenty of car parking space.
Great location if you plan to visit Legoland.
Tidy and clean. Bright with windows.
Beds are very comfortable.
Toys for toddlers/ kids, even video games. Family friendly.
Bathroom with roof window. It makes the bathing time very relaxing.
You have everything you need for cooking in the kitchen.
The owner was very friendly and helpful.
The facilities were brand new tech. The room was clean and really big, comfy bed, perfect if you spend the whole day in LEGOLAND and need to
get rest during the night, the staff is awesome and they are really willing to help you with anything may need! If I go to LEGOLAND next year, this will
be my option again!
The entry and the lobby was very nicely prepared. My kid ha a lot of fun to explore and play.
As my car was exciding the maximum height for the parking house, it was allowed that we are parking next to the hotel. This was very nice and helped us very much.
Great location. Easily walkable to the downtown area and less than a 15 minute drive to Legoland. Plenty of beds for our family. The house was equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Self check-in was very nice and easy to do.
Hotel is near the nice city of Günzburg, really easily accessible (at least with a car). Room was nice for a stay with kids, Legoland is only a 5-10' ride by car so very convenient. Parking space available right in front of the hotel.
It is a nice and big apartment, the host is very nice and friendly. The apartment is clear, tidy and has everything you need, including the kitchen facilities. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, close to both Legoland and Gunzburg.
We stopped for a night on a way to Legoland 👍🏻 good Isolation even the hotel next to the street , the room was clean and switched on solution against mosquitoes 👍🏻 breakfast was tasty and enough of choice
Excellent location for a short trip to Legoland. The hotel is located in the centre of Gunzburg, the streets are very nice for a walk. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, I recommend this hotel!
Hotel is comfortable and we'll located. The room we were in had recently been renovated. For cyclists there is a garage to securely store the bike. There are many restaurants located close-by.
Nice cozy hotel. We were traveling as a family to visit Legoland. There were a lot of other families with children doing the same thing. The location is perfect. Good beer.
