Goreme Open Air Museum is a 15-minute walk away. Mehmet was a great host giving us a warm welcome on arrival. He helped to book hot air balloon and airport shuttle prior to our arrival. Also helped to arrange a quad bike and green tour which were great additions to our visit. Morning breakfast was awesome with a lot of options. He was kind enough to give us light breakfast pack for our early morning return flight.

Our trip got so much better the moment we decided to book with karma suites, really an upgrade to our Cappadocia experience. At Cappadocia Fairy Tale Suites, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and serves Turkish cuisine. We really enjoyed our three nights here. The rooms were great and the location (at the end of red valley) perfect. But the best thing about this hotel is the lovely staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay great, for example arranging for our own trip to Ilhara Valley and Selime cathedral and Dernkuyu underground city. Which, by the way, was a highlight of out time there. Also, FYI, on the final morning the balloons really did come over our valley, like in the pictures. It was magical.
