Vila Emigrante has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Capelas, 6.9 km from Pico do Carvao. The air-conditioned accommodation is 15 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. Great place with a great host. Ideal for families. There is even a playground with swings for small kids (not visible in pictures during booking). Very good value for the money. The host was very helpful and we felt very welcome. We stayed for 7 nights.

We had an exceptional stay at Casa da Galeria. The staff were a real delight and very welcoming, the service of a palace, no less! We read that the breakfast was excellent and had high expectations that were not only met but exceded. Now let's talk about the architecture and the art, everything in every nook and corners were of such good taste, everything was pleasing to look at. If you hesitate, don't! Our 2 bedroom apartment was fantastic for our party of 5. Spotlessly clean, all details are well thought out in a modern way. Everything looks completely new. The kitchen is useful for full meals. Complementary parking and good breakfast. And above all the terrace is amazing, the ocean views, very large and L-shaped surrounding all rooms. I'd book the same room in a heartbeat.
