This little apartment is in a perfect location. It's on a side street that's a cul de sac. When you come out the door, if you turn right, you walk into the old castle full of lovely little street with cafes, restaurants, and shops. If you turn left, there is a beautiful walk along a canal/river bank. Everything is within walking distance. I took 2 taxis while I was here. 1 from train station to apartment for Eur11 and 1 to the airport for Eur22.00. Both fares were about right for distance travelled. The apartment was easy to access, key left in a lock box, there are a few steps (approx 8 to 10)inside the door leading up to the apartment door, but they are easy to manage. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the sofa and armchair.. The shower is excellent. Good supply strength and plenty of hot water on demand. The mattress and pillows were tops for comfort. The old bridge is a 4 minute walk. I wasn't mad about the new yown or the square. There wasn't much to do or see in the area. The canal and old city were the best spots. Really enjoyed the boat trip on the canal. Worth every penny. Didn't need to rent a bike. Maybe next time. The two little cakes on arrival were perfect touch. Also the additional supplies, rice, pasta, salt, spices, oil, tea and coffee. Thank you. I highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

Solo traveller. Felt safe throughout. The studio was very comfortable and everything I needed. Camille and Pedro were very helpful. Very central. Eight minutes walk from the train station where the airport shuttle dropped me off. Lovely walk-in to the centre of town by the canal. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

Fantastic hostess kind and informative, beautiful flat with amazing view of the remparts, perfect location half way between the Bastide and the Cité Médiévale in a lively street full of restaurants but very quiet thanks to sound insulation. The spacious garage is a definite plus. Perfect. We look forward to going back.

It is within a short walking distance of the old City and therefore quite convenient for visiting it. The interior thematic decoration is quite pleasant and enjoyable. The flat was clean and comfortable. The instructions provided for accessing and using the flat are well written, a parking permit was provided with the flat, which was a welcome surprise. Overall, I would recommend this flat for a short stay in Carcassonne.EmilFamily with young children

Short walk from all the touristy areas, train station, shops and bars. Electronic key pad for the door seemed very safe. We were provided with 2 large fans that helped in the very warm weather. Blackout curtains and shutters made us to have very quiet, good sleep. Good tv with access to netlfix, youtube etc. Can recommend!WeronikaYoung couple
