The view around the hotel is amazing, I believe that their terrace has the best view for the sunsets. The food at the restaurant was amazing, especially the deserts. We also enjoyed the breakfast. My husband says that jam collection for breakfast could have been better taking into consideration the local diversity on homemade jams, but this is a personal preference. 😄

Very enjoyable. Everything you want in a 5 minute walk. Spectacular views.
Restaurants on the same street excellent for quality, service and atmosphere. The Alhambra was our favourite.
If you want to have an average meal for 4 with spectacular views over the gorge, expect for an average meal with a bottle of wine and a gin and tonic for starters around 75 euros each.

There is so much to see and do in Ronda.
There is so much to see and do in Ronda. It can be very sun intensive in the afternoon, so may I suggest sightseeing at the bridge and bullring before the tour buses arrive around 11am.
There are many parks with shade and picnic seats, all with views.
The Casa Museo don Bosco has a lovely terrace and garden with a small cafe, wine and snacks, on the side of the gorge with spectacular views. A short walk along the street takes you to a lovely park.
Walking is so lovely in the evening and so many restaurant options.

Great vistas, culture and history all throughout the city. Best part is you can walk everywhere. If you want to avoid the crowds get up early. Remember to drink plenty of water, use sunblock and wear a hat.

Absolutely fabulous place.
Absolutely fabulous place. So much history and so much to see. The views are incredible from so many spots. Just loved wandering the streets and finding the little cafes and shops. It’s a challenge in some hilly spots for those of us on the older side but I definitely could see myself living there.

A interesting place with breathtaking but rather scary views. We were surprised at the amount of tourists around as we’d never heard of the place until recommended. 2-3 nights would be enough though and perhaps take in a walk.
Found a fantastic little bar - with spanish guitar and flamenco - open mic. - 15 Arroba. Very friendly staff too.

Provided info to open the key safe for the keys but no...
Provided info to open the key safe for the keys but no mention that there were 2 key safe’s & which was the one to use. Wouldn’t normally be a problem but the police would not let us park the car outside apartment block to even access the key safe
No info on how to exit/enter car park on foot.
Car park very tight turns and small spaces so not for a large car/ SUV without scratching paintwork
No indication that there were 3 staircase’s and we needed “C” which was across the courtyard
On arrival we found that a green glass dish on the kitchen island had a foot missing
The living room shutter was jammed about 30cm up & wouldn’t open or close.
The shutter in bedroom wouldn’t stay open as strap was broken
The corner bath with shower had no shower curtain so bathroom floor would get wet
There was a coffee machine but no pods supplied, we bought pods to find the machine turned on but wouldn’t dispense coffee
There is a hole in the floor by the internal terrace door
The location was perfect on the south side of Ronda along the old city wall. You can park for free down the hill which is an easy walk. The views over the countryside are amazing. A wonderful breakfast was served outside each morning so the view and flowers in the garden could be enjoyed. The hosts (and owners) Lars and Ellen were very interesting and a pleasure to meet. Good advice was provided for day trips, etc. The four days spend at La Escondida were the best of my 25 day trip to Spain and I plan to return.
The place is just amazing!
I would not say it too often, but this time it is true. The location is in the very center of Ronda - 50 m from Plaza de'Espagna and 50 m (opposite) from the oldest arena for Toridas in the whole of Andalusia, and bottom line, just 100 m from the Ponto Nuevo (which is probably the reason you would be in Ronda in the first place).
Old building, but well maintained. The interior finishings and furniture is an absolute charm!! You would qualify it for a "boutique" hotel!
- Great location, just a few minutes drive from Ronda
- Great price and value for money
- Super quick check in and a flexible checkout (we needed to check out very early in the morning)
- Quiet and beautiful surroundings - a big garden, a swimming pool (but we haven't used it), romantic lights
- Comfy and clean bed
- Option to eat at the hotel restaurant
- Really nice personnel that managed to juggle multiple jobs and helped us with whatever we needed :) Thank you!
If you can, book this place!
We had a perfect vacation in Ronda - Walking into this gorgeous hotel 🤩 is an experience. The staff was so welcoming and nice, and the room was amazing (beautiful, clean, with a huge bath tub).
The location is perfect - Within 5 minutes walk there are beautiful view points and tons of restaurants (if you get a chance, check out Tragatá).
The parking arrangement that the hotel offers is convenient, which is always great.
Highly recommended!
Well, everything - we would award the hotel 12 instead of 10 if we could.
The view from the room and the location are things that I'd would like to point out. Just request for room 12, if you want to get the view :)
NB! The hotel is a little off the main street and is in fact even not seen from it, but is as close to the Mirador de Ronda as you can possibly stay while still steps away from the Puente Nuevo.
This is a beautiful hotel situated on a spectacular property. The view from our window looks out to huge green field and hills. A very peaceful setting. This is a getaway and relax type of hotel. it is a close drive to Ronda and even closer drive to a charming village called Arietta. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I wish we could have spent more time at this hotel.
The hotel was in an ideal setting with lovely gardens and beautiful views. The room itself was spotlessly, clean, quiet and large. The staff was exceptionally helpful. There was a restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent and a good value. Ronda was 10 minutes away, and other towns were easy and convenient drives from the hotel.
This was maybe the best apartment on our trip through Spain. The location is about perfect and Million dollar views throughout. Couldn't believe we had rented it for mere Euros. Loved walking around the gorge and finding our apartment from different views. Expected small and dingy from the photos but it was clean and spacious.
Situated just next to the newer of the two old bridges, the Hotel Don Miguel enjoys one of the best locations in Ronda, walkable to shops, restaurants, parks and many tourist sights. We reserved a Twin Room with a Terrace and Puente Nuevo view, one of the most famous in all of Spain. You pay a premium for it.
A perfect location. Room is very comfortable with direct access to a lawn and swimming pool. Weather in Ronda is cold (3°C night time) and hotel is lovely and warm inside! Bed is great and a very good breakfast spread with excellent Covid rules in place. Thoroughly recommend Parador de Ronda.
Some really nice touches like a bottle of wine left for our arrival and some pastries for morning breakfast made this place really stand out. The apartment itself was spotless and is one of the best we have stayed in on our travels around Spain .
This is the only place to stay in Ronda, it’s is an exquisite, small, beautifully located boutique hotel with pool directly overlooking the Tajo gorge and countryside. This is our second stay. Fantastically helpful staff.
Wow. What a great hotel. The staff are super nice and friendly, the room was superb and the swimming pool the perfect place to chill on a hot afternoon with incredible views.
Would definitely stay again when in Ronda
Fernando and his colleague were exceptional in helping us with a misplaced suitcase. The hotel is in an olive tree orchard. Very enjoyable stay. Ronda is very nice to see.
Clean, well kept, and great location. A good place to sleep and shower, solid value. Also they offer breakfast which is surprisingly hard to find in Spain.
