We booked 3 rooms in total. All of the rooms were immaculate! They each had different colours and styles which enhanced the experience. We were staying for a wedding in the trim castle hotel and this b&b was ideal. It was within walking distance to the hotel and a fraction of the price! The guesthouse exceeded our expectations! We definitely would stay again.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Upon arrival, very warm welcome and Jack who was managing the bar was a pleasure to deal with checking in. The accommodation is situated in the heart of Trim. The rooms are spotless and spacious. Probably one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The atmosphere is relaxed and the locals that stopped by for a pint are as friendly as the staff. Highly recommended
Trim has a great castle, used in the filming of Braveheart.
Trim has a great castle, used in the filming of Braveheart. The guided tour of the keep is quite good. There is a friendly family of donkeys in a pasture just down the road from the castle and you are allowed to feed them (a sign with foods that are allowed is in the pasture). Trim is a great base for exploring Bru na Boinne, Mellifont Abbey, the Hill of Tara and other areas of interest. I actually;lly would have stayed 3-4 nights instead of 2, but we had reservations in a different area.

Trim castle is awesome!
Trim castle is awesome! The tour provides historical, anecdotal and architectural context for the structure, and the grounds have detailed markers and schematics to help you understand what you're seeing. We needed more time to explore the grounds, the ruined Abbey, and surrounding areas. Dinner at the Stock House restaurant provided a good steak and interesting decor to explore. Definitely a stop for a day or two on our next trip to Ireland.

We only stayed in Trim one night.
We only stayed in Trim one night. We went to the castle which is in pretty good shape. Entry is free but you can pay for a guided tour of the Keep which you should do.
We ate dinner at the Trim Castle Hotel in the Bailey Brasserie. It is a little expensive but we thought the meal was very good. The host was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that our waiter was very busy and not very attentive but this would not keep me from returning.

Came to the hotel for a wedding.
Came to the hotel for a wedding. Lovely scenery of the castle from the rooftop and some rooms. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. My room was nice and had everything I needed and the breakfast was very nice. I paid €190 for 1 night stay in a double room which I thought was too expensive for a Monday night but overall I enjoyed my stay.

The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was lovely. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel, in fact we are already planning to return and take my mother along with us this time.

Trim is a beautiful town, with plenty to interest both adults and children. There are plenty of independent cafes and restaurants, making a lovely change from high streets with global chains.
Lovely walks along the river and around the Norman castle, the focal point of the town.
Cecilia is a great host and she welcomed us to her beautiful home, made us feel like staying with friends. She gave us a lot of information about the area, had maps ready. The room is very spacious, the bed is actually wide, which is not too common in Ireland, the bathroom has a shower and a bath tube, and is also very spacious. The area is very beautiful and quiet and it is only a short drive to the beautiful town of Trim. We had a great stay with Cecilia and will sure come back.
Our flight was cancelled, resulting in rebooking all of our reservations. The front desk receptionist couldn't have been more gracious and accomodating, and this was true of the entire staff at Trim Castle Hotel . Everything was excellent!
The location was superb for us: directly across the street we found an extensive system of walking trails throughout the grounds of the castle, and the scenery was gorgeous!

What a wonderful place to spend our first night in Ireland. Pam welcomed us into her beautiful home, situated in the quiet and peaceful farming countryside outside Trim. Her warm hospitality and personal touches (chocolates on our pillows) made it a perfect place to recover after a long flight. We ended our stay with a delicious farm breakfast and look forward to our next visit. Thank you!
Our room was spotless and big. Bed was extremely comfortable. We had booked to have breakfast which was really delicious with a good variety of options and freshly cooked. Rob and Caroline run a lovely hotel and are very welcoming. There is a coffee machine to make whatever coffee you want, whenever you want it, as well as tea/coffee in the room.
A very nice overnight stay in Trim.
Hosts and staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They were fantastic, so kind and helpful. The room was large and bed comfy. The bathroom was small but had the best shower of our trip so far in Ireland. Breakfast was great and plenty of it. Location is very walkable to town center and an easy drive to various sites in the Boyle Valley.
The hotel has nothing to commend it unless you enjoy the smell of cooking fat and cabbage as you walk in the entrance and the cold water water showers and towels spotted with what looks like black ink or worse. €360 for two nights in what can only be classed as a "kip". The Castle Hotel Group should be ashamed of this property and its poor management
Mary was an exceptional and accommodating host - and even let us use the laundry machine and drying line outside in a pinch. the room was very comfortable, with plenty of towels. Maybe our favorite host in all of Ireland! And that’s before even mentioning the breakfast which she modified for our dietary preferences.
The accommodation itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a house adjoining the Hotel and it was perfect for what we were looking for from the accommodation. We at in the Terrace Lounge on the first night of our stay and the food was reasonably nice.
I was looking for a quiet place with some character. I stayed in the main house which had the (immense) charm of an older residence but with modern conveniences. Being a bit outside of Trim on a farm, it offered the perfect setting I was looking for.
The hotel is located right in the middle of Trim, there is parking across the road for 2 euro which is great value. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and the food and drinks in the bar were decent. Very good value for money.
Location was excellent, across the street from the Trim Castle and access to the river path. Town centre is a 5 minute walk away. The hostess was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful older building.
We booked 2 cottages for our family of 10 children and 8 adults traveling from the USA. We raised our children in Trim and wanted to show our young grandchildren where their dad''s grew up
The 3 town houses were perfect for what we wanted, family of 22. We all had our own room with en-suite. Walking distance to hotel were your free to use facilities.
Beautifully decorated guesthouse set on very nicely landscaped property. Easy walk into Trim with all it has to offer. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
