A trip to Ireland is not complete without Dublin. I did everything I wanted in two full days but for long days trips (Galway, Cong, etc) add another day per trip. Found places with good prices so shop around.

I love how colourful Dublin (and all of Ireland) is, and the friendliness of the people... as well as the Guinness, of course! We had lunch at the Trinity Bar, very popular but also very spacious with numerous levels for dining and socialising. We did a tour of the State Apartments up at the Castle, which was great, and the Memorial Gardens are progressing very well. I last saw them 12 years ago and was impressed; they are even nicer now with also the free exhibition on the other side. The architecture everywhere you go in Dublin is wonderful.

Dublin might not seem as likeable or picturesque as other European cities, but has its own undeniable charm that lingers in your memory long after you leave it.
Public transport is not the best, we struggled a bit with the system and witht the TFI app, but generally ok.
Public toilets are hard to find (if there are any).

Great City with good transportation services.
Great City with good transportation services. Can't find a better people to interact with. Just "luvely" all around. Many historic sites to visit and great entertainment location. Ireland is grand.
Easy access to other side of river. Your service manager, Gabriel, was a gem. Sharp fellow. I needed a plug in charging unit to accommodate my US devices and where I had previously stayed in SW Ireland, both hotels and supplied same. Gabriel overheard my conversation w one of your desk staff, saw I was mildly annoyed, came up and offered help, to wit: he offered me the use of HIS charger plug in during the duration of my trip. That was gracious and he clearly was a very customer oriented manager. That was extremely appreciated.
We ended up staying for over a week due to a family member being hospitalized. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. The value for staying a full week was very reasonable for Dublin City centre.. breakfast was first class and great variety.. even though we didn't avail of it it was great to have the option of music ever night..
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone that may be needing accommodation near the mater or even a long weekend in Dublin
Absolutely perfect location -- within a 5 minute walk to restaurants, post office, grocery store and just a short distance from the city center (w/ bus stop directly outside the door of the B&B) Mihaila (sp?) and son were very attentive; Mihaila spent time with me talking about how to get places and just general conversation about the area and Ireland in general.
The room was tidy and perfect for two days visit in Dublin. Located in calm area but close to the city centre. We were kindly assisted to our room and explained how everything works.
Even there is a pub downstairs it did not made any extra noises into our room. The pub staff were friendly and pints served were heavenly as usual in Ireland.
The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The facilities were excellent and a good size TV. The location was excellent with shops and cafes around and the city centre within easy reach. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The price was reasonable for a fairly central hotel in Dublin.
I love the fact that the dart, which is the mass transit train system was literally a half a block away and took you right into downtown dublin. We love the universal living room for te a and the fact that they had cakes and snacks during the afternoon. The breakfast was as good as any we experienced in our two weeks in Ireland.
My husband and I loved our stay at the Grafton hotel. The Manager Garrett assisted us with purchasing GAA football tickets and provided exceptional customer service. The room was spotless and the breakfast was one of the best we had during our three week vacation through Scotland and Ireland. I highly recommend!
Very nice hotel, friendly hosts! The room was clean and very comfortable. The price was very good for the type of room you get (especially when comparing to other places in Ireland we visited). Definetly recommended! Also good connection to the airport and 20 min walk to the city centre.
Lovely hotel situated a good 30 minutes walk away from Dublin city centre. Very nice rooms, albeit a little small, but clean and with high-quality furnishing.
Staff was friendly and courteous and coffee and water was available in the lobby at any time for free.
Fantastic swimming pool and sauna and steam. So clean. The cleanest leisure centre in Ireland and nice long hotel pool pool with lovely overhead massage showers in pool to relax your whole shoulders. Close to city centre and plenty buses immediately outside.
This was the first hotel I stayed at whrn i got to dublin Ireland

The staff is very nice
The hotel lobby is beautiful and peaceful
The room is spacious
The beds are comfortable and big enough for twins
The bathroom is nice
The breakfast was a standard European breakfast , with fewer varieties offered in comparison to other cities . The hotel is centrally located with easy access to transport services and is within walk-in distance of Dublin City Centre .
This was our last stop on a 10 day trip to Ireland. The hotel provides so many special amenities. Really convenient and fun base for touring Dublin. Staff gets extra points for help they gave me when I needed to extend our stay.
The property is stunning. Location is ideal for Dublin City centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Services they offer are fantastic. The food is also very good. This hotel is fantastic value for money.
It was very quiet at night, even though the hotel is close to a busy road.
It's about 30 minute walk into Dublin city centre, but there are loads of buses as well, transport links to the airport are good too.
Great location walking distance to all of Dublin’s main attractions. Staff were very accommodating and answered all our questions before arrival. Our room was clean and large for Ireland standards.
The staff at this Clayton hotel are brilliant and they will go out of thier way to make you feel at home. I really enjoy my visits home to Ireland and my stays at this particular hotel.
